Or spend a day at the semi-private beach, just a quick 2-minute walk away. The beach here is fabulous!!! The access is a 2minute walk away. Looks like someone's driveway but it's actually to the left.
NOTE: Approx. 60 stairs to the Lake. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

Clan Gregor Square is the heart of our quaint community where many local festivals/carshows and you won't want to miss the farmers market in season. Pioneer Park is another local favorite—kids will love cooling down at the splash pad. There’s always something happening here, whether it’s morning yoga or artists painting the sunset.
Wander downtown and find your new favorite cafe, and be sure to save a day to explore Bayfield's wineries and breweries! Just a few minutes away, you can enjoy an amazing wine tasting experience at Hessenland Inn & Schatz Winery.
Visit during the off-season to catch favorite annual events like VetteFest or for a girl’s getaway weekend—we’re happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, shops, and yoga classes.
