Just a few metres away are the historic fish market, the civic museum, the Benedictine monastery, the cathedral, the Etnea (the city's main street and its clubs), the Greek amphitheatre and the Odeon, and the Vincenzo Bellini opera house.
In the evenings, the square around the Ursino Castle fills up with typical cheap restaurants. The main halls and pubs are right next to the square. From here you can certainly enjoy the city at its best. Those arriving by car can park near the square for a fee or free of charge.
